Church Consulting

Church consulting is a relatively new field in today’s world. For several decades consultants have assisted churches in raising money and building buildings, but hiring people to assist in a church's ministry decisions is a new idea. In the past such outside help was gained through denominational leaders. But today there are many large churches that need help in a way that most denominational leaders cannot provide. Large churches discover that they have more in common with other large churches regardless of their denomination than with churches that share their denominational roots and heritage. Decisions about specialized ministries, hiring and managing staff and installing technology frequently require the help of church consultants.

The most effective church consultants are those who have actually led churches and experienced the successes and failures of ministry.
